Manisha Vaalmiki. Who is she? A 19-year-old girl who was brutally raped and murdered. She was born and brought up in a Dalit family from Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, India. Manisha Valmiki was brutally gang-raped by four men in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. After this incident, she was admitted to a hospital in Delhi where she fought with life in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for 15 days, and lastly, she lost her life on 29 September 2020. As per reports, Uttar Pradesh police didn’t file an FIR against the culprits and shamelessly defending all these four men. According to media reports, Manisha’s body was burnt by Hathras police officials without the consent of her family at 2:30 AM on 30 September 2020. After which all the villagers protest against the Uttar Pradesh police but the Government has imposed Article 144 in Hathras and seized the borders of the village to prevent any other incident.
